We're in the middle of the long Labor Day Weekend and counting down to returning to work after a two-week vacation and school (Alexandra starts high school, Cameron returns to middle school, and Brandon and Nicholas continue being homeschooled by Maria).Yesterday, we went to a new restaurant that just opened up in town...Cocina Medina. VERY good food! I kept stealing some of Alexandra's chili verde...yum! My pork flautas were pretty awesome, too!
Today, we're pretty much taking it easy enjoying the U.S. Open tennis on TV. We're going for a late lunch shortly. Maria and I (joined by Brandon this week) have already had our morning coffee at Peet's. Nothing like reading the paper and chit-chatting over a good cup of coffee.
The Bay Bridge is still closed for retrofitting. Sure hope they open it up on time for the Tuesday morning commute. Hope you're having a terrific weekend and enjoying the last week of Summer.
